The
legs

Legs are tall, narrow drapes hung at the right and left sides of the stage.

The rear of the stage, the legs and the borders frame the stage to create the black box. These curtains are made from an opaque light-absorbing fabric, and they help mask backstage, spotlights, poles, and other technical equipment.

There are different ways to place the legs. Depending on their position, we create an "Italian-style black box" or a "German-style black box". An Italian-style position means that legs / borders are hung perpendicularly between the proscenium and the rear of the stage.
