Costume
management
There are also multiple job descriptions in the world of costumes and props, here are a few:
Prop manager: responsible for researching, creating, and putting up props. Note that everything that can be moved by a single man is considered a prop. This service can sometimes collaborate with a pyrotechnician for light and heavy smoke effects.
Costume manager / designer: in charge of creating and putting up costumes. Costumes are tailor-made for each dancer and in 2 to 3 copies because one role can be handled by different dancers.
Dresser: responsible for costume maintenance, reparation, and installation before, during and after the shows. She's backstage most of the time helping dancers change costumes during the show. After each show, she has to clean every costume so that they are ready for the next one, which can happen on the same or the next day.
