Territorial
cooperation

The territorial cooperation project manager works on CCN-Malandain Ballet Biarritz’s cultural projects in Basque country, a cross-border region located astride France and Spain. Dance, as a universal language, naturally breaks down political and language borders.
The goal of these cultural projects is to allow for as many people as possible to discover ballet dancing, for example by bringing them to a show for the first time, making them participate to a meet-and-greet with artists or taking a dancing lesson…
The project manager identifies partners on both sides of the border and brings them together on different projects in order to reach this goal.
She follows up on every project from beginning to end, especially the fund raising, event planning or coordination between different participants.

The story
“A few years ago, we organized a meet-and-greet with Thierry Malandain after a show at the Victoria Eugenia Antzokia theatre in San Sebastian, Spain. Just before the beginning of the meet-and-greet, we didn’t have any interpreters to translate, and I had to do it at the last minute. Everything went perfectly fine, but I had to act quickly and be in control of my emotions!”
